Christie just wrapped the film Backyard Wedding.  She plays Frances Fisher's (Titanic) daughter-in-law, Kayla Tyler.  Bradford May directed the charming film set to air in the spring on the Hallmark Channel.  This January, you can see Christie on the ABC hit show Castle, guest starring as Melanie Kopek.  She crosses paths with Castle, played by Nathan Fillion, when he and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) try to solve the murder of Melanie's brother.  Tune in to see what unfolds...

Christie recently guest-starred on the CBS show, Three Rivers, which stars Alex O'Loughlin (Moonlight), Kate Moennig (The L Word) and Alfre Woodard (Desperate Housewives).  Christie plays Lori Campbell, a loving mom who is at the fairgrounds with her little boy, Dylan.  The outing takes a terrifying turn when Dylan is crushed under a carnival ride.  Lori can barely keep it together as her son hovers between life and death.  The episode aired during sweeps on November 8th.

Christie Lynn was offered the role of Deardra Farnum in the highly anticipated remake of the classic George A. Romero film, The Crazies, directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara) and produced by Michael Aguilar (The Departed).  The story revolves around the inhabitants of a small Kansas town who are beset by death and insanity after a plane crash lets loose a secret biological weapon into the water supply.  The film is slated for release on February 26th, 2010. It also stars Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) and Radha Mitchell (Finding Neverland). Christie travels to Perry, Georgia in the beginning of March to shoot the film.

RECENTLY WRAPPED:

Christie just wrapped working in Iowa on the dramatic feature, Ticket Out, directed by Doug Lodato and produced by Oscar nominated director Chris Noonan ( Babe and Miss Potter).  Christie plays the strong, dry-witted, ballsy sister, May Keifner.  The film also stars Ray Loitta, (Goodfellas), Billy Burke (Twilight) and Alexandra Breckenridge (Dirt).

Christie just finished an episode of the CBS hit show Eleventh Hour, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.  Christie played Fran Lieber, a smart, tough and efficient emergency department physician (and former army doc) who helps Dr. Hood (Rufus Sewell) diagnose victims of phosphate poisoning.

Catch Christie in the supernatural thriller, The Cursed, due out next year.  She plays Marlene Muldoon, the strong yet sympathetic wife of Lloyd, played by Louis Mandylor from the blockbuster independent hit, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
